Introduction
The hut is located on the routes of the Alte Vie delle Dolomiti no. 3, no. 4 and no. 5. The hut was opened in 1895 and still retains its original structure; the hut's centenary was celebrated on 3 September 1995.Description

Routes from the hut
- Crossing to the Forcella Piccola and the Galassi hut sent. 227 and return to the chairlift via sent. 229. Walking time 3h.
- Ascent to Forcella Grande sent 226 mt 2235 with a view of the southern part of the Sorapiss Group: Torre dei Sabbioni, Punta Taiola and Cima dei Ross. From here it is possible to climb Punta dei Ross or Punta Taiola. Time required 1h 15 m - Bivacco Slataper sent 226 and sent 243. Time required 3h.
- Val di San Vito sent 226 to Palus San Marco/Misurina. Journey time 4h.
